YouYuan

YouYuan in use

YouYuan's Latin specimen has tall, narrow proportions and a light serif construction. The figures are similarly slender, giving the line an airy, formal texture rather than a heavy display effect. It is worth testing for a short heading or caption where the finer strokes will remain large enough to read. Evaluate any required non-Latin text separately in the destination software. The name of the file is less useful than a real mixed-script sample when deciding whether its proportions will fit a document.
