Tamil-001 shows Tamil-shaped letters in the positions used for the Latin test string, with dark curves and fine internal details. Familiar numerals appear below them, but this mixture should not be mistaken for proof of a standard Unicode layout. Check a known passage using the document's original input method and compare attached marks as well as base shapes. If text changes when pasted into another application or font, resolve the character encoding before making design or conversion decisions.
