BRH Kannada needs a compatible text workflow: in the inspected specimen, ordinary Latin input produces Kannada-shaped letters rather than the Latin words that were typed. This is important when opening an older document or copying text between applications. The rounded forms have fine connecting strokes and distinct loops. Do not judge character coverage from the keyboard labels in the preview. Test a known passage in the software where the document will be edited, and confirm the encoding before replacing another Kannada font.
