Avalon
Creator: Richard Lipton
Avalon in use
Avalon has a slender, sloping script with long, fine strokes and airy spacing around the capitals. Its lowercase is narrow and lightly connected, producing a quieter line than the heavily looped Miss Fajardose specimen. It is a useful candidate for a short dedication or an understated invitation heading. Check hairline visibility on the actual background and leave room for strokes extending beyond the text box. Enlarging the font slightly is often more effective than adding a heavy outline to delicate lettering.
