Ariane Extra Bold DB

Ariane Extra Bold DB in use

Ariane Extra Bold DB is a dark, flowing script with broad capitals, strong stroke contrast and tightly joined lowercase letters. It makes a short phrase feel substantial, while its slanted figures can carry a date or number with equal emphasis. Use it where the lettering has room to act as a focal point. The small counters and fine joins need inspection at reduced sizes. Avoid placing another ornate script beside it; a quiet upright companion gives the heavy curves a clearer setting.
